Welcome to Hanoi, stroll through the Old Quarter Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be greeted by a professional guide and driver in the arrival hall. Enjoy a 45-minute drive to the city center (Hanoi Old Quarter) with a brief overview of the city's most visited locations, culture, transportation, and cuisine. Arrive at your hotel, check-in, and relax. Note: Hotel check-in time is at 14:00. Continue your day with a walking tour. Start with a visit to the small temple called Ba Da, quietly nestled in a narrow alley - just a few steps from Hanoi's Grand Cathedral, built by the French colonialists in the 19th century. The guide will also take you to explore typical streets of Hanoi such as Lan Ong Street selling traditional herbal medicine, and Lò Rèn Street where metal goods are produced. Stop to visit Dong Xuan Market - the largest market in Hanoi's center. Continue walking to the famous area known for its nightlife and street food - Ta Hien Street, where you can enjoy vibrant streets with lots of great local dishes and drinks. Try a bit for an unforgettable experience. End at your hotel. Explore the Cultural & Educational Center Van Mieu, outstanding ethnographic museum, visit the French Quarter, and explore the Old Quarter 9:00 AM: Your guide will take you to Van Mieu, built under the Ly Dynasty in the 11th century to worship Confucius and educate princes. Enjoy a stroll in the garden to the iconic Khue Van Pavilion of the city. Then, you will visit the World Heritage "stone stele" inscribed with the names of outstanding students. Continue to explore Quoc Tu Giam, considered Vietnam's first national university. Next stop at the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays), which provides an in-depth insight into Vietnamese culture through costumes, tools, musical instruments, and traditional houses of various ethnic groups. To fully explore this fascinating museum, it will take about two hours. In the afternoon, you will visit the French Quarter - a "miniature Paris" in Hanoi with tree-lined avenues, government buildings, and a large square. Visit (outside) the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum before leisurely strolling in the botanical garden to visit Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, where he lived and worked. Head to the unique One Pillar Pagoda, one of the city's landmarks. We will spend from 1 to 2 hours exploring this complex, depending on the number of tourists. You return to the city center to relax before enjoying a special water puppet show, first appearing in the 11th century. Cruise and relax exploring Puong Cave, Dau Dang Waterfall In the morning, walk from the village to the boat dock for a boat ride on the lake (swimming in the lake is possible). Stop to explore Fairy Pond in the middle of the primeval forest. After the lake, move to the Nang River. Travel along the riverbank and immerse yourself in the pristine beauty to reach Dau Dang Waterfall. Continue the boat ride in the opposite direction along the Nang River to Puong Cave, which is inhabited by thousands of bats inside the cave. The boat will head towards the Buoc Lom pier. Meet our driver to transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy free time after your mountain getaway. Travel to Bai Tu Long Bay, explore Cap La Island, leisurely kayak and swim 8:00 AM: Pick up at the hotel (in Hanoi Old Quarter). Enjoy a three-hour drive from Hanoi to Bai Tu Long Bay. Your journey will pass through a series of villages, rice fields in the Red River Delta. Stop for a drink and restroom break. Continue driving, arriving at the harbor around noon, warmly welcomed at the cruise's reception counter. 12:45: Warmest welcome drinks from our team. Listen to a safety briefing on board, then check your cabin. 1:30 PM: Enjoy delicious Vietnamese meals for lunch while leisurely cruising to the core of Bai Tu Long Bay. 3:00 PM: Disembark to explore Cap La Island – a beautiful area in Bai Tu Long Bay. Enjoy kayaking through limestone mountains and stunning nature, swimming, and relaxation. 5:30 PM: Return to the boat and enjoy the Sunset Time (tea and fresh fruits). This time is considered the "Happy Hour" – "buy two get one free" as our cruise is heading to the overnight anchorage. Additionally, a cooking class is also held by our guide during this time.
